Where did you get the idea for Message Sent Through Time?
The original idea popped into my head when I was a young engineer. I didn’t do anything with it then because it required research, and I wasn’t a writer.
How long did it take to write the novel?
I wrote the first draft in November and December of 2006, my second National Novel Writing Month. I’ve rewritten it more times than I can count after receiving feedback from three critique groups, friends, and editors. It was published in October 2024.
